Latest Episode | Cut To The Race Podcast

GEORGEEEEEEEEE Russell took his 6th Virtual Grand Prix (including last seasons) win in a row today despite starting 14th on the grid. This week the race took place at Interlagos, Brazil, as it followed on from the two previous events at the Red Bull Ring and Silverstone.

Russell started 14th on the grid, but carnage at the first corner allowed him to immediately jump up to 3rd, before swiftly dispatching anyone left in front of him to take the lead, he dropped down the order following his pit-stop, but soon reclaimed the win and never looked like loosing it, with Enzo Fittipladi 2nd and Alex Albon third.

A wide variety of people took part across the three races, including F1 drivers (Russell, Albon and Latifi) , Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, content creators such as Jimmy Broadbent and Pieface and many other celebs from all walks of life! Haas took the constructors championship with driver pairing of Pietro Fittipaldi and Enzo Fittipaldo, taking away the top prize of $20,000 for their chosen charity, with the FDA E-sports team 2nd and Williams 3rd. The Grand Prix Trust. The higher up the standings the constructors finished the more prize money they took home, but no team left empty handed!

E-sports races are always full of action, and as the pro-series returns later in the year we recommend tuning in! From all at Formulanerds, we hope you enjoyed the races, over and out the VGP!
