A paddock source close to the FormulaNerds has rubbished rumours that teams had to “work without sleep” to recover from their recent shipping issues..
Reports had previously stated that team mechanics would have to work through the night in order to get their cars ready for this weekends Brazillian Grand Prix.
Shipments between last weeks venue in Mexico and this weeks race in Brazil had been delayed, leaving teams with less time and resources to prepare for the weekend.
Haas driver Nikita Mazepin gave an insight into the teams work ethic and said:
“The mechanics will have to work without sleep, and tomorrow they will work all day again. That’s a huge workload for them when the weekends are all in a row like this.”

However, a paddock source close to the FormulaNerds have given the following exclusive:
“No that’s not accurate. It’s a long day yes. (We) treated it like a normal Friday night”
“Normally, car prep is done on Wednesday. Fire Up, car setup, FIA checks and FIA bridge checks are on Thursday. This all had to be done yesterday”.
This confirms that teams have now recovered from this weeks shipping fiasco and can now focus on delivering a good result at this weekends Grand Prix.
