Trident drivers Clément Novalak and Roman Stanek have both received five place grid penalties after Qualifying.

Qualifying in Jeddah saw F2 rookie Victor Martins claim his first pole position this season. He will start at the front for Sunday’s Feature race.
Trident drivers Novalak and Stanek originally qualified earlier today in P11 and P16. However, both drivers will now start Saturday’s Sprint race five places lower after receiving a grid penalty.
The team were penalised due to breaching the Sporting Regulations. After qualifying, Trident’s mechanics didn’t hand back each drivers set of tyres into parc fermé. The team had also worked on the tyres before they were eventually handed in to race control.
This means that Novalak will start tomorrow from 16th. In addition, Stanek will start from P21.
The Trident team will have to work hard across the rest of the weekend if they are to score any points.
